Slag cement was developed from granulated slag,by-product of Pakistan Steel Mills & demonstration model room constructed at CWHR in 1982. |

Contribution was made in development of Pakistan Standard on blast furnace slag cement (PS1631-84) which was approved in 1984. Accordingly State Cement Corporation started producing slag cement on commercial basis. |
